If you're looking for a way to both decorate your walls as well as add some nice ambient lighting to your home, this light emitting wallpaper might just solve both of your problems.
When off, the wallpaper, created by Dutch designer Jonas Samson, looks just like any other plain old wallpaper. Nothing too exciting. But when flipped on, it turns into an active 2D light, turning your wall into a work of art and giving you an additional light source. It's not clear how expensive this stuff will be or how it can be installed; but surely worth a try.
