COWON X7

THE COWON X7
Expected Price: Rs. 17,500/-

The Cowon X7 MP3 Player has measures only 129.9×78.6×14.5millimeter and weight just 212g. It comes with a 4.3-inch screen with a 480×272 pixels resolution; it’s capable to play a wide range of digital files formats such as MP3, WMA, OGG, FLAC, APE and WAV, as well as DivX, Xvid and WMV video files. The X7 also comes with the usual FM Tuner Radio, Image browser, Flash player and even Bluetooth Headphone support. The X7 comes with Cowon's JetEffect 3.0 and BBE+ sound effects. This is the most comprehensive suite of sound altering settings that you will find on any device and gives you a billion options to adjust. The Cowon X7 is quite big, in fact it's huge. It looks massive compared to the likes of the iPod touch, which is less than half the thickness of the X7 and also much smaller overall. Cowon claims an incredible 103 hours of battery life for audio playback and 10 hours for video.
The video player support on the X7 is very restricted and is only limited to AVI, WMV and ASF. The X7 does not support MKV, MP4 or MPEG formats. It also supports only SD resolution videos, which is a major drawback as it does not support HD.
